Now that the novelty of NXE has worn off and you're ready to get down and dirty with all it's community features, moving-picture-show streaming, and pointless, though I'm still gonna do it, hard drive installs, you may want to start paying attention to the Community Games section of NXE from here one out.

XNA Studio is Microsoft's YouTube for video games, at least thats what they want you to think, but they forget to mention that it takes talent and skill to develop a video game, where as all the me-too Johnny Knoxvilles on YouTube just point, shoot and upload, or download in the case of Jackass 2.  Yeah that's what I mean.

Creating Games for Windows is free, creating games for Xbox 360 requires an XNA Creators Club subscription which ranges from $49.99 for 4 months to $99 for 12 months.

The game you will see to the right was created using XNA and will be released through the Community Games Channel, I've heard at launch yet NXE officially launched yesterday and I didn't see it up there yet.  Regardless, after watching this trailer for In The Pit, I couldn't help but notice that this was the first time since LittleBigPlanet's comment on my having a Playstation Eye, that I had LOL'd at a game.  Watch it and you'll see why.

This game uses absolutely NO VISUALS.  A surround sound is not required but definitely recommended.  This game could be totally horrid, or mediocre, god I hope those aren't the sound effects from the actual game, but one things for sure, the developer is gonna get a lot of shit, the XNA Community Games Channel will definitely be one to watch.
