Didn't I say November would be the month with the huge releases as it always is, every year.  You know what that means, it means that October benefits from all the betas for the games that come out in November.  This brings us to the Call of Duty: World at War beta.  Luckily last year around this same time I was gleefully skipping to the beat of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare beta which allowed me to join this year as well.  Last year was Infinity Ward's test this year it's all up to Treyarch.  Treyarch usually develops the odd numbered game in the series and after Infinity Ward nailed it with modern times, modern guns, and Modern Warfare, Treyarch announced with a straight face that they would be taking Call of Duty back to it's roots with World at War.  That meant WWII.  Yes, as if there weren't twenty million other games doin that exact same thing, the boys at good ol Treyarch thought it would be fitting to go back to the early 40's.  They've got some balls is all I'm saying.  They do have the benefit of using the same engine as Modern Warfare, but then again if you rocked Ashlee Simpson's Vagina to sleep with your skills can the same be said of Jessica Simpson's.  We'll see.  I'll keep you guys posted.  This will be an open battlefield, vehicles and way more chaos, flamethrower anyone?
